COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEM AUDITS
Air Power USA has conducted hundreds of plant air system audits for
companies of all types and sizes. An air system audit is a thorough
diagnostic assessment of your supply side and demand side pneumatic
systems. We identify costs, develop usage management procedures, assign
accountability and ultimately isolate air power as a cost of production.
A Level I air system audit includes the minimum parameters
for an effective compressed air system evaluation. On the supply side,
existing air compressors and compressed air treatment equipment are
evaluated. On the demand side, we evaluate distribution piping. Level
I air system audits provide a good, solid operating plan and serves
as a basis for follow-up programs.
A Level II air system audit, if required, adds two elements
that can be vital to the development of an overall managed compressed
air system: a fully measured and trended evaluation of air flows,
pressure and dew point, and a complete leak survey of major compressed
air uses.
Each Air Power USA audit is custom-tailored to fit the client's needs, and all include the following:
| · |
An overview at a cost commensurate with the system
size, complexity and potential recovery. |
| · |
Short- and longer-term plans to establish basic control
and management of the air system, pulling together all
the interrelated parts and giving the user a basic understanding
of these parts and their relationships. |
| · |
A general guide the user can follow to continue increasing
system efficiency. |
| · |
Identification of specific programs and/or actions
to be implemented, plus estimated costs and payback. |
