Independent Compressed Air System Consultants Air Power USA was founded in 1986 by our president, H.P. "Hank" van Ormer, to meet a growing demand for expert counsel on ways to improve production and reduce electric power costs of compressed air systems. We are not a compressor dealer. We are practical, down-to-earth compressed air consultants, not "blue sky" theorists. Our technical expertise in compressed air is unmatched. From air system audits to air system design, Air Power USA has helped a multitude of plants, large and small, save big money by reducing costs while raising or maintaining production quality. We also offer training and seminars as well as textbooks and manuals to help you solve problems on your own. About Air Power USA's founder Hank van Ormer is well-known in the compressed air system business, as well as the industrial, construction, mining and well-drilling sectors. He is a graduate of Gettysburg College and has done post-graduate work at several universities. He has held key management and executive positions with major manufacturers and dealerships. Hank has authored more than 100 technical articles and published several books. His "Compressed Air Training" courses have been accredited with state continuing education programs for engineers.
